I wish...I had wrote this poem

I wish I could hold you
The way that I hold you
In my dreams at night

I wish I could share
All the feelings that tear
Me apart inside

I wish I could tell you
So you’d understand
The loneliness locked deep within

I wish you could know
The feelings that flow
Each time someone mentions your name

I wish there was somewhere
My love could run free
A place where loaners could dare

I wish and I pray
Though I’ve always known
I wish that I wasn’t alone
