Barfday? Burpday? Blupday? Birthday?

This is a delayed birthday post to me. I originally was to lazy to post it, but a certain turtle or penyu won't let me off easy. Hmm... where should I start? Err... better start from the start of the eve of my birthday.

20th March

Guess I didn't expected much on that day except the RBS reunion because Li Ann was in town. Kinda fun spending the whole day in KLCC with a bunch of equally crazy youth to do just wander around and talk about anything under the sun. Literally just wander around and just talk. Hahaha! Shopping~~ XP But seriously it was fun to be reunited once again just after 4 days since the RBS reunion in Sunway Red Box. XP

Have a laugh, have a pic:

Camwhoring. Kim's speciality.

Emo-ing

Just wandering around... again.

Bring out the Bollywood-ness in me.

Bring out the model in me.

Bring out the kid in me.

Also bringing out the kid in me.

Again, the model in me. (I think I look better without Eng Hoe XP jkjk)

Teaching people how to skip like me. I need new recruits...

Us with all the happy smily faces.

Us again.

Ah... blissful time spending it with you guys. :)

Well, it didn't end there. About 4 o' clock I think, Keen King called me while I still was in KLCC to go out. So I was like okay. But the funny thing is they ask me to go and meet up at 6 30 pm. So I continue my lepaking with my RBS mates untill 6.00 pm.

I reached the Bangsar LRT station at 6. 30pm on the dot. I'm always early for some reason... even for the KLCC trip. And well... we only met up at 8 30 pm. I guess I learn the value of patience well. Enjoying the breeze of the evening air. Watching the sun decends slowly into the horizon among the polluted gasses.

I'll just fast forward now to fish & co since 2 hours of waiting is not so interesting.

Met up with Boon Yang, Wen Jun and Keen King and waited for Jun Yu and his girlfriend to come. Turns out the girlfriend was a childhood friend of mine. Interesting. But I didn't bother to tell her who I was. Too lazy I guess. HAHAHA! Well, at least they found out yesterday.

Interestingly I wasn't into fish that day, so I ordered sword-fish. XP Lame right? I know! haha down to 10 bucks in my wallet.

Note: If you think you are holy, then please stop reading from this point on... Thank you =)

Then we went to D'haven to celebrate my birthday. Hehe.... No shisha for me though. I still hold fast to my principles.

Long Island was nice. I prefer Blue Lagoon though. *hint *hint.

Here's some more pictures.

Keen King trying to be a pro shisha-er

Failed...

After about one hour (and after numerous times of "secretly" discussing about what to get for me), Keen King and Jun Yu went out to get my gift. Haha. Thanks for all your effort! And thanks for belanja-ing me AK-47 and the Long Islands and also the clown. The clown was pretty cute. =D Love it! AK-47 was fun to drink. I still love cherries. ^^

Me with me birthday gift.

Me savouring my birthday gift.

There was a video of me downing down my AK-47. Go to PenYU's blog to see. If you want to see that is.

Well, after the excitement and receiving numerous sms' wishing me Happy Birthday, we went back and crashed at Jun Yu's place.

Then went home the next day for my YF. And then went out to celebrate my birthday with GodMa. Dinner was not bad. Then next day, went for steamboat. My mom's friend belanja'd me again. Awesome steamboat at puchong, man!! STEAM AH!!!

Well, that's how I spent my pre, during, and post birthday days.

THANK YOU ALL!

GOD BLESS!!!

The Perfect Results

God has answered my prayers! Praise God! I believe He had given me the perfect results to satisfy my soul.

I got 8 A's for SPM.

It's not straight so lest I can boast about myself and still not so low that I can be ashamed of.
Some of you might find me retarded but I don't care. God gave me this gift to prove that he cares for my needs. Not my wants but my needs.

God bless!

Back from outer space? More like inner space.

So much lessons learn, friendship made, laughs shared, tears shed, thoughts expressed... and all for what?
Life, of course!
RBS was an AWESOME experience. It's time now to live out the experience.
I am not holier now, I am more sinful than ever.

[edited]

I realised that the above was not really a fitful description of RBS.
So after reviewing some of my friends' blogs I was peer pressured into this:

What RBS meant to me:
Or what I learn:
Notes: This is not all there is to RBS, these are just some. There are just too much...

I learnt what it takes to be a real man, a leader.... with emotions/compassion.

I learnt to speak no evil, smell no evil, see no evil, hear no evil and think no evil. Or at least try to do them.

I learnt that everyone is just ordinary untill we get to know them.

I learnt to be serious at times... I'm serious...

I learnt that I should put more trust in the circle of close friends I have.

I learnt that God is closer than I thought, all I had to do is lift a finger.

I learnt that every moment is a gift from God. It is His present for us.

I learnt that I can accomplish anything through Christ who gives me strength.
(Yes the flag is fake but it still carries its meaning)

I learnt that I have a great mission team called Glasgow!

Thank You RBS, for giving me the opportunity to learn...
PS: noticed there are less girls in the photos eventhough the girls outnumbered the boys? That proves it, guys are just better posers than girls. Just kidding!

GOD Bless!

I am not rotting!!! I am just degenerating slowly...

Weeeeeeee It's the 3rd week of school reopen... Wait.... why do I care? HAHAHA no school!

Hehe... some of you might be wondering what I'm doing nowadays so that I won't go insane from boredom, so here's the list:
  • Driving lessons (kinda fun but I really wish the instructor would stop leaving me all alone to drive around while he go yam cha)
  • Gai Gai (basically just lepaking around with other free people, the Loos included)
  • Reading (self-explanatory)
  • Occasional gai gai by myself
  • Helping around in the house.
  • Internet

Yeah, maybe its not so much of a impressive list but it still achieved its purpose.

Residential Bible School is just next week! I'm really excited, yet still feel homesickness already. Amazing huh? Contradicting emotions usually happens consequently.

And I decided to stay back in PJ whereas my parents go to Kuala Terengganu on the the 23rd. I will catch them later on the 26th. Guess the reason for me wanting to stay back is... no idea? HAHAHA Maybe its because that weekend is the last weekend the Loos are here? Or maybe Zoe and Marie's farewell is this coming Saturday? Or maybe I want to spend as much time with the friends around me as much as possible before going to RBS? Or maybe there's not much relatives back in KT. After all, all my grandparents are gone.

So yeah, that means I'll be home alone for 3 days before CNY. Anybody wants to adopt me?

PS: I appreciate the advice from Ben Phua, "Go hunting in RBS, but please don't hunt preys you can't kill."

A new year, a new start

Yes, I know it is weird and late for a new year post, but heck I'm writing anyway eventhough it will be a short one.

It really is weird. To not buy text books for school. To not wake up early for school. To not be dressing up for school. To not do any homework for school.

But enough on that, I shall not dwell on the past if not I'll never move forward. Someone once wrote that, " To start a new life, you have to die to the old." I couldn't agree more.

So for now, I just have to be a ronin and bear with it for awhile.

Any wishes for this year? I wish I would be a more people person.

Enjoy the year ahead!

YF camp 08 [from my point of view]

Bonjour! Je parle Français!!! Merci beaucoup SLOO!!!
Translation: Hello! I speak french!!! Thank you very much, SLOO!!!

Yes I'm back from Youth Camp. So as per-usual like everyone else, I would like to jot down what happen, lessons, people, or anything I see that is worth putting down on my blog.

THE ACTIVITIES
Caving in Gua Tempurong for the second time is not too bad. Although my shoes became sole-less and it feels like walking bare footed on the small sharp rocks with only a thin piece of cloth strapped around my feet. Well, at least those shoes were old and worn and thankfully not Nike or Addidas (another reason for not buying branded goods).

Workshops were great. I thank God for enabling me to participate in the French workshop. We get to discover how to say our names in french. Well, for me that part was pretty much simple. Sloo's a great and patient teacher. Well done!
(though it was a bit weird when suddenly the Sing with Yuen Yuen Workshop interupted us with a funny song they composed, Well done to you guys too!)

Games were not too bad too! The Sukaneka (that has nothing related to sports) was indeed quite fun. I am glad to see all my group whole heartedly doing through every single disgusting things like stuffing their face with shaving cream, or stuffing their face into flour to find coins. And the best thing is: WE DID IT WITH A SMILE!

(plus I ruin the Jenga when it was at its last block)

Mystery Night too was well, a mystery. HAHA Basically its like CSI finding who kill the victim, using what weapon, where did it took place, and why. The whole event actually took 2 hours but time flies when we're having fun. Jason Voon's sexy acting scared the hair off people. Well, we didn't get first place but it's all right. We were close.

Talent time is yet another awesome thing to watched. The group Zeal would definitely be dead without Kevin Loo. And David Ho really has a limited vocabulary. Muruku?

THE CAMPSITE

As some of you have noted in my fellow YF-ers blogs. Yes the campsite was nice and clean but full of flies. That's because we were practically in the middle of nowhere. A good place to make someone stranded for life. Yeah. So the campsite is extremely good... so long as you don't open your mouth too long. A fly might just fly in.

Tragically, we didn't get to use much of the facilities due to the tight schedule. But it was all right.

Toilets were clean. Food were good. Beds were comfortable. Nettings for insects were there. And air cons were working! So I guess this campsite goes way up to my list for great compare to some other campsites I went to.

THE SPEAKER

Joshua Liong

You've seen him, you've heard him, and now you shall add him on FACEBOOK !!! So yeah. He was our camp speaker for Passion for God. He was just simply amazing. He just gets to the point and the point drives through you like a sword through your heart. Something most speakers won't do. They just try to create impressive and decorative jargon and makes you think too much untill you're brain is back to square one: empty.

All the things he had said are well, to me not new things but still things that I haven't thought of in a long, long time. Things that always remained in the back of my head, untill now. It is just incredible to be reminded that God chose to let us be involved in his plans. And the purpose for us is just too incredible so that glory goes back to God.

Thanks to him, I get my spiritual high and passion renewed for God.
(Team Hoyt always brings tears to my eyes without fail.)

THE PEOPLE
The people there are just super great. Spontaneous, active, willing to listen, ready to laugh and most importantly, GREAT FRIENDS!!! They are the people you wish time would just stood still and never ends.

Their sharing are just great encouragement for people like me. It shows that they are growing and in the right path.

On the last night of camp, I and Han Jung stayed up till 2:30 am for bonding session. It was really nice. Haha too bad the rest slept so fast. You guys should have seen the dining hall when it is dark. Outside was dark, inside was dark and the place is full of windows. Just imagine if someone in white suddenly walk past one of them. Brrrr....

YOUTH CAMP IS AWESOME!!!

Note to self: I only wish I was more friendlier to people.

Tuesday, December 23

I would understa-a-a-and~ Monday is not so bad day after all...

Eventhough it was really really really short notice, the best school friends made it to mid valley to catch:

Yes, you get it. Really awesome movie. Thanks Matt for recommending it. :) Go watch it, Jim Carrey's expressions are priceless.

Then we went to Fish and Co. for late dinner. That was when Keen King's chest becoming super red from 20% diluted vodka. I find my Fishy Maria was quite spicy. Yummmyyyy. Then we went to Sri Hartamas for Chivas. Boon Yang went red after a sip of wine. We shall call him Boon Yang the red faced clown. So we finished half of our Chivas bottle in Sri Hartamas and headed back to Jun Yu's place.

That was where the fun started and ended with a vomiting end. Ok. The fun didn't ended there. It never does. =D

So I and Keen King were being funny and poured the remaining half of the bottle of Chivas into our two cups to downed it. Unfortunately when we finished pouring we realised we almost finished the whole bottle. So yeah. Jun Yu get the whats left in the bottle and Keen King poured some for Boon Yang from his share. So WEEEEEEEEEEEEEE we toast, we downed and Keen King got really really really tipsy. Sorry. =D But really it is incredibly awesome how out of control you can get. You should see the vids I took for Keen King. Haha it looks as if I am really nailing it down on Keen King. That's because he was too funny. Really funny. Period.

Me? At least I am conscious enough to realise 1+2+3+4+5+6=21 Black Jack! And also still conscious enough to hear what the rest was mumbling in their sleep or half sleep. And also conscious enough to help open the jammed door.

Unfortunately, when I grew tired, alcohol takes its toll on me. No, I don't spout out truthful or revealing things or cursed like a sailor. Just get dizzy and feeling sick. So I tried to stay up as much as possible. But I failed miserably. So yeah I suddenly woke and heard a gut-wrenching sound and realize it came from me. Well, part of the sound also came from Keen King who was already in the toilet vomitting his guts out for 3 hours? So yeah, the toilet bowl was my best friend for the moment, Keen King had the sink to himself.

I think I shall stop there with the insightful details but I tell you this, it was an unpleasant sight. Jun Yu kindly took a vid for me to see. How kind. So when I got back from the toilet 20 minutes later (Keen King was still hugging the sink), I look at Jun Yu and said, "Lets do it again!"

No I was not saying that because I have no idea what was I saying. It is because I seriously felt a sense of elation, euphoria like sense of pleasure. Okay maybe not during the vomiting process but still...fun? It's like I can look back and say, "Been there! Done that!"

Yeah, it is kinda stupid to want to do what I did but really to me, it is something. Bonus: We get to hear Keen King confess that he love us monkeys. I'm really touch. I love you too, Keen King.

So summary of last night's events: Drinking, Making a fool out of ourselves, Laughter, Vomiting, Laughter at looking back of what we did during that night. Okay, maybe the laughing came from only me in the morning. I guess most people are not morning people. I am always happy I guess.

Please forgive me if I offended any of you dear readers for my outrages actions but please note that I would probably do it again. Just for the fun of it.

Cheers!

I don't want to survive! I want to live!

Wall-E is an awesome movie. Period. Almost comparable with The Dark Knight. Hehe, now I'm downloading Wanted, Hancock, Eagle Eye. Yeah, I didn't really get to watch all the recent movies cuz of SPM and all. Tell me some good one's that I miss out, ya? I want to download them too. hehe Oops, download is the wrong word. After I get arrested. How bout if I rephrase it to "shared"?

So prom came and went and the poor me stayed at home that night. Well, the word poor is in literal sense. So guess you can't blame me. Haha. So those who went, tell me about it sometime ya?

Just some random thought: I think the older we get, the less open we become.
Less open as in less friendly, more racist, more stubborn, etc.
Hehe Figure that sentence out yourself.

Wished more people had come to volleyball last night. Heh! Matthew Huang miraculously invited a total stranger and he came while Matt didn't. Weird huh?

Oh Well.

Enjoy the holidays!

When you lower your expectations, you'll never be dissapointed...

Back aches, that was for sleeping on the floor with Zoe's Chem reference book on my head.

You might have heard, I didn't really study for Chem. Well, if you call studying from 12 am to 2 am then sleep untill 4 30 am then study again untill 6 am, "studying". Ok lor, I did. But you know what, I created a theory by doing so.

BULLSHIT ALERT
(You have permission to ignore the next few lines if you want to.)

The Theory of How To Study Lazily yet Smartly for SPM only (since the standard is low).

Pros: Get to be lazy, sleep a lot, study once, and know it all.
Cons: EXTREMELY RISKY ( There's a danger you won't absorb anything, you might fall asleep studying, you might fall asleep during the exams, you might fail in the end.)

Here's how it works, sleep the whole day before exams, then you will feel like studying at night when you're natural sleeping hormones kicks in. In a way, you become tired yet fresh. Kinda makes no sense right?

Simpler words, you're mind's too tired untill you can't resist the facts and logic. Hence, you absorb and also understand the facts faster. Or Johann puts it, principle of Osmosis: The less you know, the more you'll absorb. But then you're body is fresh, so you can study effectively for a few solid hours. Then sleep for a few minutes but not too long. Then wake up (if you can) and start studying again. Somehow sleeps helps in memorising. Proven by science.

Please note that this is a theory is totally experimental (yeah, I'm my own guinea pig) and may not work for most of us (including me). I can only prove this theory works when I get my SPM results.

Yeah, I know most of you (if not all) are thinking I'm really the laziest person alive. But sometimes, hard work is not the only way to succeed. But yeah, it sure helps. A Lot!

***

Today was yet another fulfilling day of SPM (yay! 3 more days to go!). Chemistry paper 1 is surprisingly easy. Even Jun Yu would have no problem getting 40 out of 50. Paper 2 was ok only la. Not to hard yet not so easy (I got owned by putting ethanoic acid instead of urine for the question on how to heal sting ray sting).

Lunch was yet another hectic rush like on Tuesday. Only more chaotic.
Yeah, Jon Wee and bigger Co. ( Keen King, PenYU, Whye Shon, Yang Yang, Zhuo Wei(dunno how spell his name), Qi Xian and Wen Jun) went to Chinese restaurant to eat. Wonderful ain't we? Food was great untill it came to the bill. RM 112.40. Lol, some of us were waving empty wallets when we came out. But thats not the excitement.

The excitement started when the lady forgotten our order of fried chickens. When it finally arrived, the time shows 10 minutes before 2 p.m. Which means we have 10 minutes to eat and get back before the exam actually starts!

And eat we did. You could swear a vacuum cleaner was there, and surprisingly, we finish the whole 20 pieces of delicious and hot (temperature hot) fried chicken in 5 minutes WITHOUT the help of the FOOD INHALER SAW WHYE SHON (he claimed he was fulled. First time we witness the black hole is full). We are dang amazing.

Then we rushed to the 4WD Pajero (Qi Xian was driving), and all 8 of us crammed into the vehicle. Me, Jun Yu and Wen Jun was like squatting in the boot. No seats.

When we reached the school gates, all the students were already in the examination hall!
Yeah, so that meant more running and skipping (What the...? Skipping?!). So as Keen King claimed that skipping reduces the amount of energy output and quickens the pace.

Miraculously, we still manage to arrive in the hall in time before they lock us out. Champions of the day. Everyone around me was staring at me, well... at us. Thinking, where in the galaxy did we drop out from? Pluto?

Thank God for a sympathetic invigilator who kindly turn on a fan near me. :D

So yeah, after all that drama, we were rewarded with a dumb experiment to construct.

"Construct an experiment to investigate the reactivity of Lithium, Sodium and Potassium with water."

If you thought it could not possibly be any easier, they went ahead and gave the observation too. Well done, Lembaga peeps. You succeeded in bringing a whole new level to the word DUMB.

Oh well, I think Jun Yu can get his A for Chem now. Weeeeee, remember belanja your good friend here Chili's with your RM 1000.oo reward money for getting A in Chemistry. *winks*

एक अच्छा दिन है !! (Hindi)

Call me gay but I WANT to read Twilight series...

Maths was retardedly easy and I can guess the reason. For those rural, unurbanized people to get a credit for Maths. But I personally think that lowering the standard of maths is just hiding the fact that we are weak in it. I'm not sure about westerner's maths though.

Today the great me managed to convince, persuade, enticed, tempt my mom into watching Madagascar 2. Meh~ die farny i tell you. Went to MV straight after school in school uniform. I will miss being a student. Can't get RM7 student fare anymore when go see movie... T.T

Oh, then I went to MPH and (eventhough I resisted and restrained myself to the maximun) read Twilight. Too bad I only spend half an hour there. One thing I can honestly say is: I hate Isabella Swan. Really. Honestly. Despised her. The way she don't even try remembering people's name. The way she don't hold much respect for her father. The way she makes herself invisible so that she can feel lonely and be more depressed. The way she hold so little hope in the future. The way she goes all out to be anti-social. The way she secretly keep glancing at Edward Cullen, deciding whether she hates him or likes him. The way she always feels paranoid beyond reason. The way she remind myself of me. Well, that is just first 50 pages conclusion of her. Yeah she has problems, but so do the rest of the world.

But the style of writing seems quite familiar. Hmm... The description. The way the author uses italic words like him. A good author nevertheless as she sparks the emotions, imagination and depression in me. That is why I want to read. Can't wait till SPM is over.

So plan for tomorrow is Bible Knowledge, Bible Knowledge, Bible Knowledge, Bible Knowledge, Bible Knowledge, Bible Knowledge and more Bible Knowledge.

QUACK!!!!

Tuesday, November 11

First day of SPM

Woke up feeling grouchy as I only had 3 hours of "sleep" the night before. My brain was too used to going fast untill it doesn't know when to stop and rest. Everything was out of order. Especially my brain which was in a state of chaos (I'll explain later...). Bathe in cold water, forget to bring my water bottle, forget to wear my belt and need to pay RM 10 for a new one that barely fits me. Not really the way you want to start of your exam.

But then, I kept on walking staggering forward to my class to put my bag and to memorise a few peribahasa to use for my Karangan as BM was my first paper.

Entering the exam hall made my brain hit overdrive. It's like my brain is going beyond the speed of human realms and my body is too tired to catch what it's trying to say. MASSIVE DISASTER. I did manage to catch a few random things chucked out from my brain. But they're mostly useless and unhelpful when the exam was about to start in 5 mins. Like, "WOW! I'm finally here!" or " Dang! I forgot my water bottle!" or even "It's the last leg of the race!" and of course "SHIT! I forgot the peribahasa I just memorised!"

I was a nervous wreck despite all the good luck wishes from my friends. I sat down, took out my exam slip and IC (Thank GOD I didn't forget those). And try to calm my brain down. But failed miserably. I look to my left and saw Rebbecca, she smiled and gestured for me to pray hard. (You know those random things people do before exam like gesturing people to tembak well or something). But pray I did, I went like,

"Dear God, I commit this paper into your hands.
But I know I should have committed it more and I'm sorry.
But for now, I'll do my best so please help me to calm down. Amen."

If you're expecting a miraculous response from God to me like suddenly my eyes were open and answers flow from the tip of my pen, no. Your expectation is too high.

I guess my actions have consequences and consequences are God's way of disciplining people. That was I believe.

So the paper started and I flipped over the front page and the first thing that came to my mind apart from the gazillion other stuff is : " WHOA! Its in coloured ink!" Then I was like inspecting the picture for 15 minutes coming out with nothing except found out that the pipe were covered in green grass and there was a tire in the river. The tajuk was :" Punca-punca Pencemaran Sungai. " Just FYI.

Eventually I calmed down or actually woke up after 15 minutes (YAY! Redemption from God!) and completed my paper in good time.

Then when it was break, had some food and was "studying" for my Sejarah paper 1. I put the inverted commas cuz my "fans" kept coming over to wish me good luck. Yes, it seems I have "fans". Nerve wrecking a bit actually.

Well, I got through Sejarah too! I actually knew half of the answers! Yipee! Jason Lim says I'm a type of person who gets 5 A's for SPM and will start praising God like nobody's business unlike Cassandra. Maybe he's right.

Then we had an hour and a half lunch break. And we so called "study" again by spending our time playing UNO (I won twice!), looking at girls playing captain ball and discussing who should Jun Yu take to prom. "P or T?" were his exacts repetitive words.

Well, I managed to get through the rest of the day and it's all due to the grace of God.

And THATS my first day of SPM.

PS: My mom install a new water shower head thingy was is awesome. It has this mode where the water spray out in the from of water vapour. It felt like wind!

PSS: Oh and thanks Jing Tao for doing the address book thing, when I first receive it, I thought it was for Add maths!

Tuesday, October 14

Speech! Speech! Speech!!!

Okay Jun Yu, as agreed, you represent the class to speak and I'll write out your speech. I apologize if it sounds hypocritical.

My name is Jay-Tay Jun Yu,
I've bee in this school for 5 years.
But now that I'm leaving all of you,
Kinda makes me want to shed much tears.

There are too many things to miss,
So I'll try to list down a few.
Pardon me for the incomplete list,
For there are just too many of you.

Teachers in this school are truly dear to me,
For they are the unsung heroes in my life.
They are ever ready to impart knowledge to me,
And are always willing for me to strive.

Next are my beloved friends,
Those that share memories and laughter.
I'll never forget you when time ends.
Hopefully we'll meet up sooner if not later.

The value of this school cannot be measured,
For it is weigh in love so deep.
All the time spend here are treasured,
Whether it is bitter or it is sweet.

So as I head in to the uncertain future,
I shall go with a fearless heart.
For Wesley Methodist School had me nurtured,
To be a man who knows where to start.

For those who don't know what this is about, its the speech for the farewell of Form Fives. Every class needs to send one representative to make a speech and our dear Jun Yu was vastly voted.

Saturday, September 27

Fate is a joke, and the joke's is in your hand.

Went to KLpac today for some workshop of some sort. HAHA. At least its not a complete waste of time like now. =D

YF was great today. Haha. Guess Eugene did pull it off pretty well. Worship too was great but got a lot of unfamiliar songs... heh! At least the words are not completely without meaning.

Class was great too. Jason Lim somehow manage to pull it off too with Genesis 22 and 23. Heh. Don't get me wrong, I may not look interested, but I pay a lot of attention. Like Sarah was the only woman recorded in the Bible for her age when she died. Or salvation may be free, but it is not cheap. So let's not make it cheap by sinning again and again.

After class was the eat out thingy to celebrate the effort and success of YEM and Youth Sunday. Big Apple Donuts sure are heavenly. Jealous much?

Then had sort of meeting with Anderson and Sarah about the YF Group on facebook. Haha. Anderson is such a clown. He brought his laptop and wanted to connect to the WiFi at our church to get onto the YF Group website. So he was like searching for the hot spot. The dumbest thing is we set up our "base" in the middle of the car park where the rest of the youths were playing captain ball all around us. Haha. Sarah was like updating her status on facebook saying "Sarah is sitting in the middle of a car park now" or something like that. In the end, the great plan didn't materialise into reality cause facebook was down or something. (More like Anderson's laptop too old?)

So all in all, today was a great day. But then opposite feelings comes in sequence. So yeah. Guess I am emo and all. Sense of foreboding..

Geros dienos! (Lithuanian)

Thursday, September 25

Its finally over, the end of the beginning.

Yeah~ so the trials came and went, and finally, it is over.

CONGRATS KEEN KING!!! FOR SCORING 87% FOR ADD MATHS!!!

I'll be lucky to get even half of that. Hehe. Don't get me wrong, I am good at the logical stuff. But I need to be push.... a lot to succeed in my studies. And thanks to my set 1 teacher,
Mr Siva, I wasn't. Yeah, so I've heard, I am downright lazy.

Oh well, haha, today, I, Jun Yu and Whye Shon went to cyber cafe after school. Played there for 3 hours! What a good way to waste time. Anyway, the funny thing is, we were all hungry by the time we finish playing. And at that time was buka puasa. So as you've guess, everywhere was pack. From KFC to mamak. That's when us geniuses decided to eat the ever-so-non-halal Bah Kut Teh. Haha.

Holidays started. Tomorrow is study leave so it is consider a holiday. Hehe. This time I am resolve to study... I hope. No, I must.

My mom had a minor accident today. Haih....

Lai jums laba diena! ( Latvian)

Sunday, September 21

With great power comes great responsibility...

And with greater responsibility,
the more freedom you lose.
And that's a fact.

I dunno la, my parents keep nagging at me to wear better clothes to go to church. "Sunday Best" so to speak. My mom was like persistantly tried to dissuade me:

Mom: If you were to meet the Sultan, would you go to the palace dressing like that?
Me: No, but thats because that king care for the outward appearance. But my King cares

for whats on the inside.

Obviously knowing she lost, she kept on trying other methods. This time trying a different tact.

Mom: You know in Matthew 22, Jesus told a parable about the wedding feast and the king
who held the wedding feast cast this person out into outer darkness, where there shall
be weeping and gnashing of teeth for not wearing wedding garments. So what do you
think about that?
Me: Obviously, if you truly understand the parable, Jesus was implying on inward
righteousness as wedding garment not physical clothes. Think about this, the wedding
feast is The Kingdom of God, and the people are invited are anyone. So do you really
think is it justified for someone to be kick out of The Kingdom of God if all he did was
not wearing his "Sunday Best" ?

1 Samuel 16:7b
Man looks at the outward appearance,
but the Lord looks at the heart.

So yeah there you go, well then of course as parents normally do when they are being outsmarted by their child, they go and blame me for all the other wrong things like not studying for exams. Hehe. Thank God for today's sermon. Failure is the backdoor of success.

Yeah, I know, I know. Sooner or later I would get greater responsibility and hence I need to set the example by wearing my "Sunday Best". Heh! But I really think that what is in your heart that counts. What do you feel for God. Is it genuine? Is it humble? Is it not to please others by wearing expensive clothes, branded shoes, posh handbags?

So how then do we actually see in a person that he is a true follower of Christ? By his conduct. His attitude. His good works. Mengamalkan nilai amanah. So to speak. That's what really counts.

Like the Pharisees, teachers of the Law... What are they? Hypocrites. Look how they plot and scheme to kill Jesus just to save their face.

Oh, and on the way back from church today, my mom tried to continue persecuting interrogating me and started talking about being a person with responsibilities and its benefits. Telling me about the things you must do in order not to stumble younger believers and stuff like that. I told her that I have no responsibilties currently, I'm not a commitee member of YF, I'm not the regular role model, I'm no mentor, so why should I concern myself with my attire and other stuff. Well, I know a time will come when I have to do these things but the fact is, the time has not come. So I say enjoy the moment when you're still free and unburdened by the ever-so-oppressing thing called responsibility.

Hehe, don't get me wrong. I don't hate my mom for telling me all these stuff. In fact, I enjoy them cause it is an opportunity for me to prove to them that I can think for myself. May sound a bit selfish but hey, that's what I feel. See, arguments are good. After arguing, it sort of gives you a firm grasp of the obvious.

So yeah, argue to the max! It helps increase your brain activity but unfortunately can either break or stregthen relationship. It's a double edge sword so to speak.

Happy Birthday Malaysia, May You Not Get Anymore Racist Than You Have To Be!

Today, well, I meant yesterday YF was a blast! Although the worship was a bit... awkward? Heh, it's allright Matthew, you're still the man!

Haha, the ice breaker game was a bit...monopolized? By right, PJGH should have won because there were more Subang people hence there will be more choices to target. So technically, you had more than 70% chances of winning. But noooooooo, you wanna be anti-social. Pfft! HAHA
Where was I then, you might asked? Well, I would gladly played that game if there were more question papers available. Heh, at least that means that we had a good turn out. No thanks to us though.

Then there was talent time! Heh! Basically we had to put up a skit in 10 minutes with special "bonuses" thrown in. Like only can converse in BM, speak out every line in a Chinese Opera way and blah blah blah. All good fun. Ben Phua solo too much.... bleh~
Shame on the group 6 which had like at least 5 people who are involved in acting frequently or attended the Drama Workshop.

Too bad I left early for dinner at Uncle Chee Leong's gi-normous house. Fwah~ overload with steamboat and plenty of other stuff. And yes, more political talk here and there and the rich people talk. Their Rottweiler is sooo cute but of course a disgrace to his kind as Aunty Happy puts it. Ooooh! Ooooh! I saw a 30k Ringgit tree! Apparently some rich retired lawyer bought the whole land just to plant that tree....

Oh well, have a nice Merdeka Celebration!

Suck On This, Vin Cheong!!!

Praying for "safe" journey.

The first casualty.

The second...

Nah, his buttocks is too smooth.

Ah~ the thrill!
I hope this serve as enough proof to you, you...you Unbeliever!

For those who don't know, this is the supercool waterfall I went to during PJGH Boys Outing.
We had to track to the waterfall area for around an hour? Well, it was all good fun. The leeches that suck us dry was a bonus. Then we went back to the church and threw the pigskin for over 2 hours.

Anyway, last night farewell dinner was lovely. The nasi lemak was oh-soooo gooood. With the wild boar rendang and chicken curry. Not to mention the juicy satays and the delicious chocolate cake. The food was just the bonus really.

The real deal was all the political talk and "other" stuff. I find it quite rewarding to keep your mouth shut once in a while and absorb information from other people. Mr. Bala is such an interesting person. Haha, I've learn how the muslims read the Al-Quran. The only thought they can have on their mind while reading it is of reverence and awe and nothing else! (otherwise all the blessings won't be given to them or something like that) Seems to be telling us something.... Hmmm... Other than that, there was talk here and there about May 13, 1969.

Today, Madam Premila (my Sejarah Teacher) asked us to write about our country. The aim supposedly is to plant us some feeling of patriotism.

Well, of course I love Malaysia. I love the people. I love the food. ( Did you know you can't find roti canai in India? Because roti canai originated from Malaysia. The same goes with Bah Kut Teh) I love the all the holidays. I love that we have no war and that we don't face any geographical hazards like tornadoes, earthquakes or snow storm.

So why are so many people migrating out? The main cause of this is because of the corruption of the government. So, we can't blame them for thinking so.

Or we can.

If you think of it this way: If all the intellectual people are migrating off, then who are left behind to bring up this country? The phrase " this country's going to the dogs". Well, so it IS the fault of those people who have resolved to migrate and leave it "to the dogs".

So why are we exporting all the highly skilled people off and importing all the unskilled labour (Bangladeshi) here? Look at Singapore Airlines, one of the world class airlines! Guess who's running it? A Malaysian! Look at Zang Toi? Jimmy Chiew? Yong Pung How (Chief Justice of S'pore though he ended the term already)? Robert Kuok?

Why oh why is it becoming like this?

Haih~ I'm depressing myself now. Ehehe. Maybe Anwar can bring a change. Sadly all the political parties exist just to bring down UMNO initially. After that? Obviously they have plans of their own. Look at the almost-cancellation of Avril Laveign concert.

Oh well, another two cents into the blog.

Aaa-Ha--Ha---CHOOOOO!!!! (stupid me, didn't bring the umbrella again!)

I'm singing in the rain
Just singing in the rain
What a glorious feelin'
I'm happy again
I'm laughing at clouds
So dark up above
The sun's in my heart
And I'm ready for love
Let the stormy clouds chase
Everyone from the place
Come on with the rain
I've a smile on my face
I walk down the lane
With a happy refrain
Just singin',
Singin' in the rain

Yeah, I would've have been singing that aloud on the walk to the KTM from my school (IN THE RAIN) if I hadn't possessed a filled-to-the-brim-bladder. Anyway, I did sing cause somehow it helps keep the "contents" from overspilling. Well, the thing about my bladder is it is very... discreet? Prudense? Unobtrusive? Inconspicious to the extend of not letting me know untill in dire need. And I couldn't release this "stress" untill I reached home!

BLEH~ Why am I talking about bladders? "Thanks" Bue!

Aaaaanyway...

Hello and you're reading the whaaat? 13th post! In 12 days since the creation of this(magnificent, noble, exalted, superlative, eminent, outstanding of its kind) blog....

I seriously need to get a life cause there is about 90 days to SPM and less than 2 weeks to Trials.
Haha Don't resent me if I reminded you (form fives) of the perils you'll be facing.

Oh yeah, back to the main topic, rain! (It's still raining now FYI)

Did you know that rain drops are not exactly tear-drop shaped as we were brought up to believe. In fact, it is more spherical. The shape of raindrops was studied by Philipp Lenard in 1898. He found that small raindrops (less than about 2 mm diameter) are approximately spherical. As they get larger (to about 5 mm diameter) they become more doughnut shaped. Beyond about 5 mm they become unstable and fragment.

When I was young, I used to enjoy looking out when it rains. Can't help it. I thought of so many reasons why the rain fall. Like if the sky was falling? Or if God was crying? Or even wader if I had super powers that can control the rain. Wait. *concentrateconcentrateconcentrate*
Nope, the rain ain't stopping now either....

Oh come on, don't tell me you're that lame when you were young. Like as if you don't have any imagination.

Ooooh! Ooooh! I wanna watch ZOHANN!!! Yeah, I know it's stupid and a bit...horny? But still it is stupid enough to make you laugh your brain off!

Ah~ my muscles aches... Guess the endorphins wore off....

Ooooh, Anwar won

Oookay, I'm being random again.

Keen King told me a quote today which I partially agreed,

Humans are like water.
Easily changeable but hard to go back to its original state.

(The rest of what he said was bull-shiat so I shall not jot that down here.)

Puedi ha todo maolek!!! (Chamorro)
*I'm going off to church later for the farewell of Douglas Boler and family and David Liew and family (you know, the wife that can sing very well in church)
Apparently, they're migrating. Seems to be telling us something, dont'cha think?

Tuesday, August 26

Ooooh! Ooooh! pick me? pick me? pick me? pick me?

Haha.... As you can see I'm still alive. So that's how fine I am.
Yes! I guess my charm of innocence still works! The teacher's (so-called) pet! Heh!

Tips for escaping a good scolding:

  • Keep smiling! (Of course this only works when you're in friendly terms with the teacher.)

  • Be honest! (Or at least looked honest)

  • Act dumb! (This is Keen Kings style. Caution: only works sometime)

  • Keep your mouth shut if you're getting scolded. Don't retaliate! (That'll be the last thing you
  • __wanna do)
  • Look sorry! (Teachers love it when you look defeated)

  • Don't make excuses unless it's a damn good one! (Or it's the truth..)

  • And the most IMPORTANT of them all is:

    DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!

(Which I am too stupid and lazy to do. Guess I'm just funny that way. )

What really ticked me off today was I lost my BM paper 2 answer paper! Man! It took me an hour of copying reffering! Well, I did DID do most of it on my own.
Anyways, went to the guy-m again today. Haha. Kinda feels happy? Especially when all your muscles are worked to the bone. You feel the pain! Well, I guess it is true that physical pain will release a huge amount of endorphins (happy hormones). Hope I'll not get addicted to that! Did you know a person can still walk around after breaking his leg. Apparently the muscle spasm will provide enough movement to...erm... move.

The thing about dreams, we all have them. In one lifespan, an average person dreams about 6 years of their life? That's about 2 hours each night. Well, some of you (including me) claims that we hardly get dreams. In actual fact, we just can't remember dreaming. It all depends on rapid eye movement (REM) sleep. Basically a REM sleep means that your brain activity is most like wakefulness type. Then the rest is up to your imagination (Don't worry, I'm sure you have it. Somewhere really deep deep deep down in your brain no matter how miniscule it is)

    What a beautiful smile
    Can I stay for awhile?
    On this beautiful night
    We'll make everything right
    My beautiful love

    Hav ein góðan dag!!! (Faroese)

    Sunday, August 24

This is madness!!!! THIS IS JON WEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

    Someone once asked me,
    "HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?!!?!!"

    I replied,
"If I had, how would I know?"

So yeah, I guess I am really that unique. Haha Syok sendiri.
Oh and thanks Geber Lim, your lined papers saved my life.

I guess I've been through a lot. But personally, I don't think it's enough. I mean, I probably prefer if I was borned in a low class family. Then I would truly know the meaning of hardship and the strive to survive. But God, I supposed had a better plan for me. He after all knew me before I was borned. Calculated all the right genes to be placed into me. Timed exactly when my mom should get married and be pregnant with me.

So yeah, guess I should be grateful that I am part of the Wee family. (Though personally, I don't really like my relatives that much, especially the ones that never learns. *Ahem*ahem)

Oh yeah! Today, PJGH has five new deacons and 1 new elder! (well, four if you exclude Uncle Lye Hock because last time he resigned as a deacon)

    They are:

  • Mr Chew Phye Keat (Elder)
  • Mr Ho Chee Wah (Deacon)
  • Mr Steven Ho (Deacon)
  • Mr Gregory Lim (Deacon)
  • Mr Benny Kong (Deacon)
  • Mr Saw Lye Hock (Deacon)

  • Congratulation for making the decision to serve God with full commitment to the church!

Well personally, I think being a leader is a heavy responsibility and will be severely be tested by the Devil as he especially hates those who have greater responsibility in the church. The Devil will, and yes he really will throw out all his big guns to bring these people down to the ground. The only resolution towards these attacks is to just stay close and be obedient to God.

Many people has fallen because of this. King Soloman? Samson? Judas? Saul?
The only person who undergo great suffering and never did fall was Job.

Furthermore, all these church leaders will be judged much much more strictly by God. But I guess these people do know by now all these things before accepting the position. (If not, I hope I don't scare them away)

Lastly, I think the greatest quality of a leader is to serve. Yeah teaching and preaching the Word is not bad, but here I am talking about serving physically. Like going on mission trips, planting plants in the church compound, helping out in cleaning up?
Look at Jesus as a role model and Peter later on.

So yeah, those are my two cents.

I absolutely love all the lines Joker comes out with. It's like every word can become a quote.

"I believe... whatever doesn't kill you, simply makes you...stranger."

    hezký den kluci !! (Czech)

(just less than 11 hours to complete the remaining half of my holiday homework....)

    I Love You Especially
